Do you want to give a try to meditation and start a true change from
within? Your training starts with the 42 Days online self-development program on our interactive platform providing you the basic theory and
practice; develop the tool for inner peace and learn about the concept of PIPO - INNER PEACE + OUTER PEACE =
SUSTAINABLE WORLD PEACE. Through the
Online Special OPS you have the means to share true
peace to friends, family and collage at large.
The Peace Revolution Pacific Youth
Peace Training will bring together 30 young people from all over Pacific region
who are interested in learning and exploring self-development as a primary
means to create real world change.
We live in a world which is often
chaotic, stressful and where many people live their lives in situations which
are out of their control. By developing personal skills, people can learn to be
less reactive to emotions, stress and challenging external environments and
instead become proactive towards real and meaningful world change.
This retreat aims to promote a culture
of peace, peace education, conflict prevention and youth empowerment through
the primary means of meditation and self-development.
This training will be
the first ever of its kind in the Pacific Islands region to bridge the gap
between inner peace and social empowerment, which will lead to transformational
and peaceful activism.
The Program
The
training offers a 14 days of intensive training program providing participants
with deeper insight in the relationship between inner peace and sustainable
world peace and enhancing their ability to create peace within their family,
professional and social environment.

gain knowledge of various theoretical approaches that include:
Conflict resolution and the role of the basic human self-disciplines

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the self-development program?
The free online
self-development program is a 42-day challenge teaching the skills and
techniques involved in the development of inner peace. It provides guided
meditation videos and daily reflections to support personal development and the
practice of mindfulness. You can start the first episode here.
2. What am I supposed to write in the proposal question in the
application?
A Mini PIPO proposal is a space for you to submit your possible
commitment towards World Peace Initiative Foundation. As you may have read, we
call PIPO to the series of meditation events a peace agent (someone that has
attended the International Fellowship in Thailand, or the Pacific Youth Peace
Training in Fiji) organizes in his/her country once he or she has returned
home. Here we are interested in knowing what do you think about if, whether you
would be able to do that, which kind of contacts you have, possible venues,
estimated amount of people, how you would plan to do that, etc. So, this is a
space for you to also add or tell us about different ideas you have to keep
engaged with the organization regardless the possibility of organizing PIPO,
for example linking your organization with ours, helping us in a specific area
of your expertise, organizing periodic online meditation sessions, etc.
3. I am over 30, can I still apply for the
training?
Everyone is welcome to join the training. We are
looking for young peace activists interested in self-development, who want to
learn how to develop their own inner peace in order to engage more effectively
in their peace work. However, to be eligible for the partial sponsoring of
airfare, candidates must be between 20-32 years old.
4. I do not live in above mentioned countries, but
still part of Pacific region, can I still apply?
You can still apply; however, we may not support
your travel costs if you are flying from outside of above mentioned countries.
Preference will be given to these countries however we are open to consider
your application if you are either living or your work is in Pacific region.
Please consider looking out our international fellowships which take place in
Thailand and other regional fellowship and camps in various part of world. You
can check more Peace Revolution fellowships here.
5. How do you select the participants?
After completing your 42 days of the online
self-development program, and complete the Special OPS required, World Peace
Initiative Foundation selection committee will make an interview appointment
based on your performance, available fund as well as group combination in the
fellowship. There is no need to write a request for an interview. If you are
qualified, we will contact you.
