In today’s fast-paced and supercharged world, sometimes we all need a moment to reboot our mind and reconnect with our inner calm. With the rising popularity of mindfulness giving us the tools to cope with the stresses and strains of daily life, an immersive experience, especially in silence, can reset your body and mind, while fortifying your commitment to regular meditation.

We are excited to offer this opportunity – a meditation weekend in Estonia - to purify your body and your mind.

The retreat is designed for those who are interested in deepening meditation experience, developing mindfulness, understanding more about the meaning of life and conversing with a Buddhist Monk Pasura from Thailand.

The retreat offers a unique opportunity to talk with a monk whom you can ask any questions, doubts, or concerns you have in life and learn how a Buddhist monk uses Buddhist philosophy to deal with daily problems in today’s fast-changing and unpredictable environment.

Venue

Sunwell Farm

Sunwell Farm is a cabin retreat. Off the beaten track in the middle of beautiful Estonia offering comfy and cosy quadruple cabins, glamping tents, a self-catering attic suite and a sauna cottage. We can comfortably accommodate up to 25 guests at a time. Bicycles, kayaks and sauna for rent. The waterways, lakes, hiking trails, watchtowers and bogs of Endla Nature Reserve - a hidden gem for hiking, birding, fishing, berrying and mushrooming - are on our doorstep. Experience pure Estonian nature in style!

The accommodation will be arranged on a shared basis in 2-floor cabins (2-3 people in a floor). The Cabins that we would be using are Sunset Cabin, Writer's Cabin and Sauna Cottage. More options are possible depending on the number of participants.

Instructors

Phra Pasura Dantamano, who was once a hotel manager, flight attendant and a DJ, has chosen the life of Theravada monk for the past 13 years. Before becoming a monk, he studied humanities at Ramkhamhaeng University. He has traveled extensively both as a monk and a layperson. He organized several dozens of ceremonies and events in many countries such as Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal and etc. with up to 20,000 people attending. He serves as a chief of international relations division of Wat Phra Dhammakaya Temple and Vice President of World Buddhist Sangha Youth (WBSY). He has represented his organization and has spoken in many Buddhist and non-Buddhist conferences held in many countries. He has also conducted more than 1,000 meditation workshops, courses and retreats in more than 50 countries to people with diverse backgrounds or beliefs. He has shared his insights on mindfulness, meditation and Buddhist Philosophy for living full, enriched and balanced life of happiness in modern era to individuals, NGOs, governmental agencies, universities, and companies (such as Columbia University, Northeastern University, TEC Milenio, Wilbur Wright College, PUC in Minas Gerai, São Paulo, Santiago, University of Illinois, University of Mendoza, Santa Casa Medical School, DHL and others)
