Thailand Flood Relief

Thailand is now submerged under the most devastating flood of the century. Thousands of people are homeless and misplaced. Farms are destroyed. People have to live without food, clean water, sanitary, electricity and every necessity. Many places are completely disconnected from the world. Physical and emotional damages are beyond human capacity to receive and the healing process would take years.

Peace Revolution co-organizes with Dhammakaya Foundation, which is located adjacent to one of the irrigation canals, are sending all resources including its funds, equipment and manpower to offer flood relief to the victims as well as preventing the main city from further flooding. Up until the 14th of October, the foundation has been providing aid to over 100,000 households in 23 provinces.

Your kind generosity to help brothers and sisters of this world are more valuable during this time of crisis more than you can imagine. Your care can help relief this national disaster. Your hand can outreach to the heart of the victims.

All contributions to the flood-relief fund are welcomed simply by providing monetary support in the form of donations. The donation should be made via paypal to secreatariat@peacerevolution2010.org or click the following link.

I checked flood affected areas’ pictures and movies in some websites it is really terrible. I was in Bangkok last year in November and I have been in most of the affected area. It is really direful when you imagine yourself to be there in such condition. As a human we should think about our brothers and sisters that are there without of food and water. I have started to search and find some foundations to provide help with these damaged people. And I am kindly requesting other peace revolution members to do whatever that they can and protect those who need your help right now.

To the People of Thailand:

I hope the flood will be soon gone and that the people of Bangkok will be saved of more damage. I feel sorry for the people who lost someone who died in the flood. I wonder what will be done to avoid this. It is difficult to fight nature. My heartfelt sympathy and support to all people who have been affected by the flooding directly and indirectly.

Please know there are many, many, people thinking of you. Every time I see a picture or hear a story, I want to be there to help, even though it might be only a hug or a smile. I know in time, Thailand, will recover, will bounce back, though it may take such a lot of time. Keep HOPE and OPTIMISM in your hearts.

My prayers are with you at this time of your lowest ebb of existence. Keep up your spirit of survival which can only be increased at these times of adversity.

PEACE AND LOVE!
