Meditation Flash Mob In Central London, April 2013

On Friday 19th April on a training course in the UK with organisations from all over Europe, Peace Agent Tissione Parmar along with a small group of youths from the training decided to stage a 'meditation flash mob' in central London, to see how busy passers by would react. It started with just one person sitting down to meditate in a central park in Soho Square. One by one, the rest of the group joined in. However, people walking by became intrigued and some even decided to join in on the spontaneous event. Slowly, the size of the group increased and the spectacle brought a lot of attention with people taking photographs and wondering what was happening. Among the chaotic city life, a small group of young people were able to spread some wonderful moments of peace and positively affect their environment and bring smiles to people's faces by simply stilling their own minds.

Peace In Peace Out!
